The silver is nice quality. They are very sturdy and comfortable for my daughter.

My daughter replaced a pair of diamond earrings. I was so thrilled-didn't figure I'd have another pair ever. The backs were really tiny on the earrings, and I lost one due to my weak hands (arthritis). So jewelry store purchased from said they could only send them back to supplier. So, I looked for a different kind. These were so much easier for me to grab & hold onto. At first, sleeping was uncomfortable with them in, but I remedied that & no problems (likely the earring post vs backs. I haven't lost them since getting them because they function well with weak fingers. Since I figured these would resolve my problem, the cost was worth it.

Older hands and eyes make earrings backs easy to lose. The width between the curved metal that provides the holding pressure can be widened with a butter knife or flat headed screwdriver or closed with pliers to adjust to the stem of the earrings.

Saw these on Amazon in two minutes of looking. No more worrying about tiny, silver ear backs. I have extra small silver love knot studs and I am sure I will drop the tiny backs again. I did have to ease the replacement on a bit, but with a few off/on pushes they adapted. No need to crawl around looking ever again!
