Stuffed Plush Elephant Hat Costume Party Cap

This hat fits snugly on an adult head - no worries of it falling off. The material is durable, giving one more wear for future events. Compared to other headwear/accessories, I do believe the elephant hat is one of the best offered. This is because the hat provides a good educational component by sharing characteristics of an elephant, to relay just how different this animal is from others in the kingdom. Really cute hat I had a talent show at work we were performing "what does the fox say" so we all got different animal hats I order the fish (nemo) and elephant(dumbo) hat so I'm glad that they kind of look like Disney characters so if that what your looking for this will work and for the price I can't complain I have yet to use my hat again but it served it's purpose it does fit an adult head it's stretchy I know I was having that issue deciding if it would fit an adult or just a kid

I got this for 4$ on amazon 2 weeks before Halloween. It was about everything I would have expected for 4$: poorly put together, cheaply made, but served its purpose. I took the time to do almost everything all of the positive reviews suggested, pipe cleaners for the ears, eyeslashes (its for my daughter), added a few stiches to the trunk to give it more form. I also basically took it all apart and sewed the ears into the seam of the hat part, took the trunk off and put about twice as much stuffing in it, then resewd it so the raw edges weren’t showing. After all that it looks much better, but if you’re in a pinch it looks fine as it comes. One note on the size, the band is elastic, it fits my head as an average size woman but the eleastic makes it tight enough for my 3 year old.

Whoever has posted about the size being too small perhaps did not know how to put this hat on correctly. I bought this for my husband who used to be a football player and is a 6-foot, 240 lb man and it fit him just fine. The trunk and ears are fitted around a soft cap which has a flexible elastic band that stretches to fit. The inside of the cap is lined with a breathable material. The outer material is plush, the quality similar to a stuffed-animal you would win at a carnival game. Took away one star because the eyebrows are flimsy, just two thin yarns loosely threaded in place. And the eyes are plastic and glued on. However, this hat served its purpose in making kids smile and laugh at a cancer camp we volunteered at, bringing much whimsy and breaking the ice with ease. The ears are big, floppy and silly fun. The only real concern I have is that the trunk is stuffed with so much material that when the hat first arrives and you immediately put it on your head, the trunk sticks straight up and out, and appears quite phallic. You have to work the material down the trunk so it hangs lower over your face. Not a big deal but I figured concerned parents ought to know. Otherwise, this is an adorable hat that makes people smile and giggle.

I had ZERO complaints about these ears. They weren't too small or tight at all. Ordered for two 2nd graders, they fit them perfectly. We hot glues some sparkles and sequines to the fronts of the ears and I shaped the ears to stick out by hot gluing shaped wire hangers to the back right along the seams. You couldn't eve see them! each set of ears took me about ten minutes total to alter. The ears stood out and shined beautifully under the lights. Highly recommended!

Mildly in shock at the hat size. It is a stretchy, shower-cap-type hat and, stretched out all the way, it measures 20.5". So, not even a possibility for an adult (extra small sized hat for an adult measures 21"). I bought this for my kids to play dress up. It does physically fit, but the general design of the "shower cap" is just not good. Will it suffice for dress up/pretend play? Yes, it seems to. And the ears, eyes and trunk look nice and seem well stitched. But... I cannot recommend this item because of the size and fit of the cap part. If you are an adult looking for a costume, this will not suffice. I would return if it weren't for the hassle. To be fair, the kids do like it.

Used this item for a Bunco theme party. Got lots of compliments. Will use it this Halloween when the trick or treaters come around.

Received this item on time but poorly made. Stitching was poorly done. Had to redo some stitching because they were either cut, frayed or totally missed the other part (cloth) causing a gap, hole or opening. Only good for one time use. Good thing my 2nd grade son only needs it one time for a school play. What a disappointment considering order was fulfilled by amazon.
