There are antique boot handles for sale, but none quite like the one my grampa had. So I ordered this being the nearest "modern" version I could get. The handle design is important, and this kind where the metal surrounds the wood is stronger than the kind where the metal screws in and is maybe held by a pin. Over the years the wood dries out and can fracture, and the metal part then gets loose. This kind distributes the pulling tension across a greater area of the wood. The metal rod itself is also strong on this product, withstanding a good pull of a full boot without any flex. Looking forward to many years of use. Recommended.

My back said I needed this. It was right. It is simple and does whst it is supposed to.

I got these because several pairs of my boots have stiff boot pulls or like one pair they stitched them it too low. These work great to help for boots like that or if you just don't want to or can't bend over to pull on your boots. When you get old every little thing helps, I still like all my boots eventough some are apain to pull on.

These are a great tool to assist with pulling your boots on.
