Excellent guide to financial responsibility that I wish I had 20 years ago!
"Personal Finance Made Easy for Young Adults" is a comprehensive yet easy-to-read guide aimed at introducing young adults to personal finance. The content is informative and entertaining, with a "down-to-earth" tone that makes the book very easy to read. Beginners will find the information helpful, while people with more experience could also use this book as a way to refresh on critical financial areas (budgeting, taxes, retirement planning, etc...). The book contains plenty of relatable examples and anecdotes, making it even easier to relate to. Quite honestly, the content within this book should be something that most young adults receive in one way or another, as it's far less common to see people with a firm understand of the concepts presented. This book would be a great resource to use, as it's well-researched and gives the necessary tools to set young adults on the path to financial success. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their understanding of literacy as it relates to personal finance.

Perfect for young adults to learn finances
I got this book because I'm looking for a finance book for my daughter. I thought this was perfect for her. It's short, sweet, written in plain terms, and gets the point across about money. What she needs at her age is awareness and a strategy—this book gives this to her. I'm glad it also addresses things like retirement and emergency funds planning, which I don't think a lot of young people think about, plus credit card debt. And debt, in general. I think she'll get a lot out of it. My only critique, which is the four-stars, is I wish there were more graphs or planner examples, or visual examples, which I think this generation responds well to. But still, overall, good information and organized well.

Great book to learn about money!
True to its title, this is a great book for young adults getting ready for the real world to learn about money. I highly recommend getting this book as a gift for someone finishing up high school. Never too early to learn about personal finance and how to accumulate wealth in life. The author is a great writer, as she also made content easier to understand with useful examples throughout. Now in my mid-30s, some of the financial advice offered in this book I had to learn the hard way over the years. For example, only learned about auto loans and interest rates when buying my first car out of college or learn to shop around for better mortgage rates when purchasing my first townhome. But I was still able to learn about some new online shopping tricks, what to do and not do while building credit, different types of interests/loans, numerous retirement programs I’ve never even heard of, and side hustle ideas to make extra cash. So, I wish I had read this book when I was in high school, I could achieve financial freedom much sooner, make better investment and purchasing decisions, and plan an even earlier retirement.
