Sitz Bath Salts

This absolutely saved me postpartum!! I split forwards, not backwards, and it was extremely painful to use the restroom. Using this in my bathtub with a shallow amount of water, made me feel 10x better. It is a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it was well worth it for me.

I didn’t end up using these sitz bath salts as much as I expected, but when I did, they were so soothing. I had a second degree tear and was wildly uncomfortable for days. I used a sitz bath on its own, which was great, but adding these salts made it feel even better. It gave me a tiny moment of self care during a time when you’re basically just trying to survive, keep your baby alive, and keep yourself sane. The aroma and the Epsom salt combo felt relaxing, and I really do think it helped speed up my recovery.

Nice smell and works really well the few weeks before birth when you need to soak. Great for aches. Did not leave residue in tub. Not over powerful in smell for those that are sensitive

This was my favorite postpartum bath salts. I tried another brand (pink stork) and I didn't like them as much as these. I actually reordered these because I liked them so much. Keep in mind this is a pretty small bag. If you have an actual sitz bath you put on your toilet, one bag would be fine. If you are like me and had to just sit in my bathtub with just a couple inches of water, you might need a couple bags because you'll have to use more to get enough salts with the volume of water.
