Maybelline New York Eyestudio Limited Edition Eyeshadow - 400 Olive Martini

I like the color combination in this palette, they are all VERY smooth, easy to blend, and very pigmented. The brow bone color is semi-sheer (which is different from lacking pigmentation) as well as the light blue. The blue goes on lighter than the color in the pan but it's nice because as a highlight it's a pretty change from the typical white, silver, gold, etc. and doesn't distract from the gorgeous star of the palette which is the reddened brown/teal duochrome that is also great match for Urban Decay's "Lounge". I don't know how it compares in terms of texture, vibrancy, and color to MAC's "Blue Brown", or Too Faced's "Label Whore" (among others) but it feels just as smooth as "Lounge" and goes on the same.If you've seen these palettes in store, you know they are very small, but if it's worth it to you to pay above retail value then go for it. Don't get hung up on the duochrome if it's the only color you want, it's gorgeous but many high end and drugstore brands make red-brown/teal shades. It's too bad this palette was seasonal, hopefully they bring it back this fall!

It's a bit more shimmery/glittery than I was expecting. Nice overall.

Not really colors I would have thought to put together but it is beautiful & I love it! I wish that I could by several of the colors individually though, so pretty!

In my opinion, this is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL palette this whole line offers. Do not miss out on it.
