Fotasy 77mm Metal Filter Stack Caps, Slim Aluminum Alloy Stack for 77mm UV CPL ND Filter, Black

These filter end caps are great for consolidating filters when in the field, making them easier to carry and lighter than bringing a filter pouch. I have some older more expensive ones from another vendor that aren't made any more so I thought I'd check these out. Solid aluminum, won't bend, and provide solid protection for my filters, some of which are quite expensive. Threads on and off my filters easily. Liked them enough that I then ordered two other sizes. Whether you need to protect one filter or a handful, these'll do the trick.

I love this thing! It makes carrying a filter in a very small camera case a no brainer. Feels very sturdy and secure. And takes up no additional space. For my needs: a perfect solution!

I've been trying to organize all my gear because I can never find what I'm looking for. I searched and searched for filter holders, but they're all sized for the biggest filters (dumb, when you're trying to protect 52 or 58mm filters), don't have enough pockets, and are insanely expensive. I stumbled across these and just felt stupid for not thinking to search for them in the first place. They're perfect: all my filters are grouped by size, they're all in one place, they're neatly (and satisfyingly) protected without taking up a ridiculous amount of room, and I have money left over for new ones. The only downside to stacking them is that the thicker magnifying filters can't connect to each other, but that's not the fault of these stack caps. And using magnifying filters isn't something I should admit to anyway... but they are pretty handy :) Anyway, I stuck those in one of the filter holders I already had (with not enough pockets for ALL my filters), and everything's perfectly organized now. I'm very happy with these!

These are well-made, and extremely effective at protecting the ends of your camera. Lens from impact shouldn't fall off a tripod or mount. Maybe not as convenient as a magnetic system but far more dependable once completely screwed in they also work with any type of threaded filter or camera lens, making them very versatile.

These metal stacking filter holders are the best solution I have found for filter storage and transport. They are the most durable, protective and space saving design I can imagine. Plus they are just cool looking. Black aluminum... what's not to love? You can stack as many filters of the same size as you want, the only problem is you do have to find and unscrew the one you want to use, which can take an extra couple of seconds. You also need a different Stack Cap set for each size filter. I have three different sizes. It's up to you, the folder type of holder is universal, may be slightly faster in use but takes up more space and is not as protective or cool looking. The threads are a little coarse as delivered. You could lubricate them with a very small amount of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) but be careful not to put so much you have it getting on the filters or lens. Instead I just screw and unscrew 20 or so times, pulling and pushing to smooth the threads, occasionally blowing out the tiny metal bits and dust I imagine is collecting, until they are smooth!

Nice quality, work fine

I bought these to use with a stack of 67mm filters. (Four NDs and a CPL.) They fit as expected and are fairly easy to handle if you don't torque them on too tightly. I love the compactness and solid feel of the stack. The only downside is the time required to unscrew the filter front and back, followed by then screwing it onto the lens. Not a big deal if you're not in a hurry, but could be annoying if you tend to change the filters often.

Excellent way to cut down the space required to carry multiple filters. I love the metal construction, they are rwally robust.
