BDI Men's Tech Jersey

I cycle commute about 20 miles everyday in the Florida heat and humidity. Consequently, I wanted to find some cost effective cycling jerseys so that I change into something clean and dry a couple times a day. I bought an assortment of colors, but considering the traffic I deal with every day, the florescent yellow is my favorite. They cut is snug (especially the arm whole, as noted by other reviewers), but comfortable, and the back pocket reasonably functional for a couple small items. To date, I have purchased four of these jerseys and after six months of constant use they remain in reasonably good shape (no machine wash. I do a quick hand wash and rinse, and then line dry). The full-length zipper still works, pocket elastic remain strong and I haven't noticed any defects after almost daily use. Considering that I purchased three for less than the price of one "real" cycling Jersey, I am very happy. Although I note the Amazon pricing changes almost daily on this item and is frequently almost twice what I originally paid. I think these are a good value at pricing closer to the low twenties.

Well, it's bright and I like that some thought was given to appearance, as opposed to other people's approach to hi vis, which is to make the jersey as loud and ugly as possible. But I don't care for the fabric it is made from and the middle back pocket is smaller than the other two. It would be better if it had reflective material as well. It also kind of smells strange.

I think this would have been a fine cycling jersey if not for the fact that the sizing is very, very small. This XL fit my average sized 12 y.o. daughter nearly perfectly; me, her paunchy father, not so much. I almost couldn't get it zipped and the elastic sleeves would have reduced circulation to my arms had I left it on for more than 2 minutes. Again, I think this is a fine jersey; the material felt good on the skin and the build quality appeared to be above average. If you do order one I suggest going two sizes higher, unless you have the build of say, the OIsen Twins.

Fit is tight but I believe that is by design. I prefer more room but I like the full length zipper.
