My kids paid for this out of their allowance and it unfortunately got lost in the mail. However, Amazon's customer service was fantastic and quickly sent us a new one. They have made 3D footballs for the Super Bowl and even a snake all out of rubber bands. I love how easy it is for them to use, they are 8 and 10 and can complete a lot of the projects with no help. Seems like a very high quality product.

My girls got this for Christmas. It's a great bracelet making kit for 9yr olds. The colors are beautiful. The directions are easy to understand and it's definitely worth the price.

Rainbow Loom is a perfect gift for Christmas or birthdays. It helps stimulate creativity and improves fine motor skills. It keeps kids engaged while they create colorful designs, making it both fun and educational.

There's really nothing bad to say about this. Rainbow looms have been around for a while and still are a great product. The kids have a lot of fun being creative. Learning it can be a challenge for younger kids. But there are tons of tutorials and videos for that.

This is the authentic Rainbow Loom. I purchased the one sold and shipped by Amazon. It does have the metal tip, and has the Rainbow Loom branding on all of the items. I bought this set, and their Finger Loom set on Amazon for my 8yr old daughter for Christmas. I also bought an extra case of bands on here. She was super excited because she added this to her wish list late in the season after seeing one at her friend's birthday party. This set is good if you're wanting to add charms or beads. If you're wanting to just make bracelets and necklaces with just the bands, I recommend just getting the Finger Loom. We're happy to have both sets tho, and it's nice to be able to make whatever you want, and to have the tools to do it, but my daughter keeps going for the Finger Loom to use as of now. My daughter was able to make a bracelet on her own, with me only showing her the first steps one time. After making a bracelet with me, she went off and made a necklace by herself as her 2nd ever creation, with a cute pattern to boot. The necklace was made on the Finger Loom! She did ask for help connecting the ends, but that's it. I was surprised with how quickly she picked it up. I made a bracelet on the Finger Loom with the bands from this set, and it was super thick and cool. I don't know which step I did differently, but I'm pretty proud of my first creation, too. I will say that the Finger Loom is best, and was the easiest if you're just wanting to make a bracelet or necklace of only bands. You can literally just keep going and going to any length you desire on the Finger Loom. It is a great addition to the Rainbow Loom brand. I personally would recommend both sets, but would choose the Finger Loom if I could only get one. I hope the pictures of everything will help. You can see the bracelet I made, and my daughter wearing the necklace she made.

Daughter loves this and has made untold numbers of bracelets "to sell". It doesn't have that many rubber bands to start out with, so I'd recommend getting more rubber bands with more colors along with this starter set. Also perhaps a book with loom patterns, as this one seems to only include instructions for 2 or 3 patterns. You can also expect to be vacuuming up rubber bands from your floor for the rest of your life.

I've had several looms in the past, both with pins and with solid bases. The ones with the pins broke or were unstable and did not stay in place/attached the plastic bases and the solid bases were always very limiting. The Official Loom was always too expensive for me to buy (particularly when you factor in shipping) but I bought this loom when it was £2.99 an item and I have to say I should have bought an official one sooner, as they are more than worth the price I paid and are worth the original price tag. I bought 2 looms (separately, not bundled - and fullfilled by Amazon with Prime) and both are genuine products as verified by the 'secret code' and the Rainbow Loom official website. They include everything the description states and I'm very very impressed with the quality. Even the quality of the paper stock used for the instruction manual is high. I suggest buying from the Amazon fulfilled option, and checking the price a few days in a row to see any changes, as the price seems to fluctuate ( I bought these early on 23/02/15 and I have recieved them on 24/02/15 and the price per loom has changed by £2.)
