Field Ammo Box .30

Plano is always good stuff. Feels sturdy even slam full of ammo and stuff.

Item was the perfect size for the storage in my boat.

I gave it 4 and not 5 because the top little carry pockets. The snap top is really loose and will come open very easy if I'm not paying attention to where I'm putting the case. Other than that this thing is great what I'm using it for. My yak trips! Weight is light and the build makes this a very solid case. Perfect to carry those extras in my catfishing trips on the Yak. Just those snap top pockets.... 🤔

Excellent ammo storage for the money good quality.

Mine just arrived and I am pleasantly surprised. It's very light but very sturdy.The handle appears to be very strong. You would be able to fit a bunch of stuff in here and have room left over. Would be great for camping supplies as well. Beware, while these boxes are a decent quality, they do not come with gaskets to help make them water resistant. I assumed they would, but they did not. I did have a latch on one of the top bins that was broken in shipping as well, but I won't hold that against the seller as that can happen when your boxes are bouncing around the back of a truck.All in all, not a bad box for the money, but don't plan on using it to keep anything dry.

I got this to use as an ammo cache and its great! I fit 450 rounds of 5.45x39 in here, some magazines, some .22 and I still have TONS of room left. That being said it definitely isn't "too big" as I felt other options were. Maybe if you wanna store 100,000 rounds go look for something else, but the size is perfect for me and I would guess would be great for most people. I didn't want something too big--this is a very manageable size and when full of ammo still is a very manageable weight. Its made from very sturdy plastic. The whole item is very sturdy, including the handle--which I worried about under the stress of all that ammo. But my worries were in vain--its a very good sturdy design. Theres even a little compartment on top (pleasantly surprised me) for keeping cleaning rods/other small items. 10/10!

I was looking for a decent box to hold shotgun shells, but didn't want one that was too heavy (old mil surplus) or too expensive. This Plano 1612 box turned out to be just what I was looking for. I have six boxes of 12 gauge shells in mine and it looks to be about half full. NOTE: The handle is a bit different than what is pictured, but does the job just the same. I like the brass locking bar on the side and the option to put on a small padlock if need be. The box isn't waterproof, but will do a perfect job of keeping my shells in one secure place.Other Plano models come with a tray insert, but I didn't feel that it was worth an additional seven or eight bucks just for that.
