Saucony Unisex-Child Boys Cohesion 6 HL-K, 12 Youth

I ordered this shoe in 11M and 11W. I didn't think my son needed a Wide, but I was hoping that by getting a Wide we could tighten the velcro all the way across the top of the shoe instead of having to leave a 1/2 inch exposed at the edge.The W shoe was wider but even though my sons foot did not need all the room, the strap still could not be closed all the way across. I returned the W and kept the M and my son is happy with them.[It is now 4 months later and my son outgrew the 11s. Even though he wore them every day, they looked almost new. I gave him a choice of a few different styles for his new shoes and he chose the same ones again. So now we are on our second pair.]

My son already has a pair of these in a size 2 and wanted a new pair for school this year so I ordered him a size 3 and when they finally got here we were very, very disappointed to discover that the 3's are the exact same size as the 2's he is just outgrowing!! Outside of that, they are an excellent shoe!! He has worn his current pair every day for a little over a year now and they have not even come apart anywhere!! Amazing since he is a full speed kind of boy!! This brand comes highly recommended by his pediatrician as well. A great shoe but just know that you will need to go up at least a size and half from what they actually wear.

My son has worn the same version of this shoe for YEARS! He has wide feet & Saucony does wide sneakers well! Love the velcro - which makes getting this on/off a breeze - as well as the fit/look. They are super supportive of my son's feet. They breathe really well & are a great choice for Spring/Summer when kids' feet really sweat. Overall, I'd recommend these to anyone with a rough boy.**the last 2 years, I've noticed the QUALITY of these shoes deteriorating a bit, though. They fray more & the leather has separated from the mesh material of the outer shoe. My son doesn't seem to care, but they don't look as great as they used to a month or so out**

My son loves these. He's still at the age where laces are problematic, so the straps are great. The fit is secure even when he does it. These are comfortable and fit his feet well - size was accurate for us. They also seem to be well made. He normally destroys shoes (including a few name brands) and so far these have held up well. Compared to other shoes in this class and size range I think the price was great for what we got. We'll buy these and this brand again for sure.

My 4 year-old-son has a beloved pair of Saucony size 12 velcro strap shoes very similar to these. I decided to order a slightly larger pair for Christmas. Opted for this style in 12.5 XW, so he would feel like he actually got a new pair of shoes rather than a repeat. This shoe measures 8 3/4" from toe to heel. Measuring sole to sole and heel to toe, it's a full 2 inches longer than what he had even though I just went up half a size. With the holidays and illness, I missed the return deadline. Maybe he can wear these when he begins junior high.

My son loves his new Saucony Cohesion 6XW (XW = extra wide) shoes. He said that they are very comfortable and he felt good exercising in these shoes during gym class at school. I spent a day at a local mall outlet in Hanover, MD looking for wide-width shoes. We visited at least 8 stores such as Kids Foot Locker, Sketchers, Nike, and New Balance outlets and none of them offered wide-width shoes. I was so happy to find the Saucony XW shoes on Amazon's website. These shoes are stylish, comfortable, practical and durable. I highly recommend the shoes and would buy a pair in the future for my son without hesitation. A great buy!

My son has never had a pair of Saucony's before. But my daughter will only wear Saucony's. She's on her 4th pair. I thought I would try this pair for my son. He tried on one shoe and said, "Way too stiff. I don't like them." He wouldn't even put on the other one. Had to return them. He's used to lightweight shoes from Tsukihoshi, so these just were not right for him.

Son likes them and they fit him good and true to size of his other shoes. Seem pretty well made, however, there was a string which came out on the front from a stitch a day after we wore them. Seems to be loose from the factory so I snipped it and cauterized it with a flame. Otherwise a good shoe.
