Gross Anatomy (Board Review Series)

BRS Gross Anatomy, simply it's anatomy in the format we love! I mostly read the core material from Gray's Anatomy for Students or sometimes Clinical Anatomy by Moore & used this as a review... Honestly it's amazing! It includes all the main points & most importantly includes clinical points too (the exact points mentioned in Moore's blue boxes)!!! Also, it has some figures and x-ray images that aid you. However, I felt that the book would have been perfect if more figures were added. The language is clear & so far haven't found any mistakes in information... In the end, I really advice you to use a great book like Gray's as core & this book as review (y) All the best!

AWESOME book to supplement my step 1 studying with... Easy to follow outline form with images, diagrams, radiographs, etc. It shipped and arrived pretty darn quick too!! I bought a brand new one from JVG Books LLC on a Sunday and it was here by that Wednesday, three days later. Super easy and WAY cheaper than the prime price. Great book and buying experience!

This is a very accessible and efficient anatomy book and what I would recommend first to any medical students. I find class and lab much easier if I first read the BRS book and try to get a basic overview. The biggest strength of this book is a review that helps integrate muscles, nerves, vessels, and actions, while also giving clinical correlates.

Anatomy lab, classes and atlases were all great to get the anatomy language down but I need something to help me study for the written portion of the test. This book provided comprehensive review and clinical problems to help focus my study beyond just memorizing body parts.P.S.- It also probably helped so much since Chung teaches at my med school.

I preferred grays anatomy for anatomy.

Excellent book to read for review as well as during class. The kindle version is well formatted and the books are well organized. They do not have many pictures to help show or explain things. The USMLE First Aid Series does a good job with visual aids if you want those in your guide.

this book has great explanations. its is a very helpful addition to anatomy studying. my only complaint would be that as a review book it seems a bit more detailed than I expected. so it can be a bit overwhelming. otherwise its great!

This board review book highlights everything you need to know in Anatomy. It is much easier to carry this around than my huge Gray's Anatomy textbook (which is my bible for everything Anatomy). BRS trims the extra info out so you can focus on the material covered on Boards.

Condensed reading to consolidate readings right before a test or just in general. Helps a ton with it's clear and concise way of writing.
