Still in shock about easy setup
I. Am. In. Shock. Yes, in shock. This printer installed perfectly. I have never had a piece of technology not have at least one bump in the road during setup. And yet this printer didn't have one! I used the CD for installation; the instructions were straight forward, the ink cartridges clicked in, the wireless connection worked, my laptop defaulted to this printer, a proper test page printed perfectly, then it did my dishes and vacuumed for me. Then I thought I'd trip it up by printing a photo using the sample photo paper enclosed with the delivery. I shoved the photo paper into the back of the feed tray (hoping I'd placed the right side down for proper printing and that the end of the paper was within reach of the feeders), selected a photo on my iPhone, selected the printer from the menu and poked print and a perfect color picture of my horse popped out seconds later. Still in shock. Did I already say that? This never happens. How many pieces of photo paper do you usually ruin when you print from a new printer the first time?? When I come out of the honeymoon stage, I'll repost if anything changes. But for now, totally enamored with this printer.

THIS PRINTER IS THE PITS AND SO IS HEWLETT PACKARD'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I am returning this printer - either through Amazon - or via the Square Trade Warranty. It is a piece of crap! It will scan and copy, but it will NOT print documents which is the primary reason that I bought it. I went with a wireless printer because my daughter has a laptop and I thought it would be nice if she could print documents, too, but now I can't print from my desk top because of the fact that it's wireless. I called HP support and they said I had a virus/worm that infected my IPS address and that everything (including my bank accounts) was at risk and they tried to charge me $599 to fix it for 5 years or $119 to fix it for 6 months. HOW on earth do I know if I can trust them? I just wanted to print a document!!! So, I am extremely upset that my IPS address is even an issue. HP obviously never says a word about it in their sales material. As a result, I have been going through extreme aggravation because of HP and this SUB-STANDARD PRINTER and their SUB-STANDARD, EXPLOITATIVE customer service.

Great Printer that can print from iPad/ iPhone without being on a wireless network
I was hoping to find a small printer that my salesmen could use on the road to print estimates. Much to my amazement there are not many printers on the market that can print from a wireless device without being connected to a local network. This printer was easy to set up and connects to our iPads by selecting the printer itself as the Wifi network. I successfully printed a document from at least 500 feet away! Works great and helps us impress our clients. The only thing I wish was different was the size. I'm sure HP did not expect people to throw this in their cars, but I hope they come out with a more compact printer in the future for this very use.

What happened to our ink supply?
I got this printer and now H-P, industry giant, has gotten so greedy, all they provide for are four tiny half inch wide puny ink cartridges. I will be keeping this printer wired, because once I hooked my old c5800 up wireless, it sent information to H-P so that the local ink store's cheaper, recycled generic cartridges would not work anymore. No thanks. If I have to live with the piddly little cartridges, then buster, they are going to be of my choosing. Also, I will print a lot bloody less.

It's Cool
Reality - it's not a laser jet, but then again I didn't think it would be. I would have loved one of those, but the reality is that they cost too much. This printer does a really great job though. I probably wouldn't print out a resume for a job interview using it just because the print is not really crisp enough and the print makes the pages crinkle just a bit since it is a bit wet (maybe it's worth trying a higher end paper though). My computer is not bluetooth enabled, but I use my phone to send documents to the printer and it works like a charm every time.Paid $60 for it last year and surprised to see the price so high now. I don't think it is worth $250. I highly recommend shopping around. Also bought 2 replacement sets of ink on InkCartridgeSpot.com for less than 1 replacement on here, also you can use your Amazon account for easy checkout on their site - sweet!

Great Printer
I love this printer. With this purchase I upgraded to a wireless printer and I couldn't be happier about it. You can print from a home network or, if you are away, send an email to an address you set up with the attachment you want to print and it will print it out, no matter how far away you are. You can also scan wirelessly off of the home network. They look great. Set up was easy. The pictures it prints are well done. It does double-sided printing. It isn't the fastest printer, but it can complete the bigger jobs more than quickly enough for my personal needs. The touchscreen control panel is easy to use and fairly intuitive.I'm very happy I bought it.

Waiting for the third new one, to get one that works...
I bought this printer for my daughter who is 4 hours away at college. The 1st new printer didn't install properly and the wireless connection never worked. It didn't come with a USB cord, since it is intended to be wireless. So my daughter talked to tech service who told her that he couldn't help her until she connected it to a USB cord. (I thought it was to be wireless?) The next day after getting a cord, she called tech and they got it to work on the USB. Within a few pages the carriage locked up and gave a warning. It never worked again. She asked me what to do, so I asked Amazon to help. They were on it, and said they would send her a new one. The second new printer gave an error message to start with and never worked. My daughter called tech, and hp is now sending the third new printer.I said stop the insanity! I would pick something else. Keep watching for the rating of the third one.
