Great cover and better than the Intex model
Better than the Intex solar cover, IMO. Feels more sturdy and bubbles are bigger. Also, the Intex cover has 4 evenly spaced holes that are each a little larger than a quarter in their cover. I don't know why, but I know my cover collects enough debris that I don't want holes in the middle of it to let bugs or whatever else through as I'm rolling it up. The good news is that this Splash Pools cover has no weird holes! This is my second purchase of this cover. The first one lasted 2 seasons before little blue dots started appearing all over the pool. By reading other reviews, this seems to be a fairly common occurrence. That said, I think it's safe to say that you'll be lucky to get 2, maybe 3 seasons if you push it out of this cover or any other. Fits pools with a 15' surface area. I have an Intex 18' pool and this cover fits perfectly because though Intex describes my pool as 18', the surface area is actually 15'. Something to keep in mind for those Intex pool owners considering this cover is that Intex measures it's pools based on the size of the pool at the bottom and not the top, so make sure you're getting the right size cover for your pool if you're buying this brand or any other non-Intex brand. We never seemed to have ANY evaporation with our old Splash Pools cover and since it was the same exact model and type as this new one, I expect the same results. The pool can get hot with the cover, especially the first few inches of it, so it's good to get in the pool and mix up the water so you get a nice, even temperature throughout. With the heat it generates, I'd say this cover extends our pool season at least 2 weeks on either end, maybe longer. I did have one time last summer where I actually had to leave the cover off over night once because the pool temperature had gotten too warm after a solid week of air temps hovering around 100 degrees.People have complained about debris in the pool and difficulty taking solar covers, in general, off and putting them on. It was awkward for us at first too. But somewhere along the line we discovered that rolling the cover up and then simply folding it twice makes it very easy to manipulate and small enough that we can place it outside of the pool right next to the ladder and away from debris. We just pick it up and roll it back out when we're done. It's super easy, even for one person and I'm betting that would work for this cover and any other similar solar cover.Overall, I highly recommend this product. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to it's short lifespan.

It seems to work great.
We have an Intex Ultra-frame 14' x 42" pool and this cover is 15' so it overlapped the edges of the pool. The instructions said to leave it on the pool like this for several days to ease out the creases then trim it to fit the inside of the pool to the edges. Well, I left the cover on our pool overhanging for about a week and liked it like that. It also kept alot of debre out of the pool easily. But I was concerned because the instructions said to not leave the cover out in sunlight when not in use (probably needs to be touching water to keep the material in top condition) and I figured the extra material that was overhanging was not touching the water so that I should trim it. So I trimmed it nicely but now more debre does collect on the edges than before. Maybe I should have left the cover alone as is overhanging the edges? But I was afraid also that the frame would start to rust underneath from the fact that it is covered all the time - who knows? Anyways... it is cut to size but I still like the solar cover. It seemed to work fine. Just another note: even on windy days, the cover stays "suctioned" to the water and does not fly off. That is a plus. Even when I had it overhanging, it only lifted a bit at some edges but most of the cover stayed put. I was impressed! Back to the size... I think in the future if I need to get another cover for some reason, I may keep it untrimmed and overhanging and see how it holds up. Oh by the way, I have this plastic serving cart next to the pool in the shade that I put the bundled up cover on top when the pool is being used. The cart is very handy for the cover not to touch the ground!

Withstands the wind!
I have an Intex 14ft above ground pool, and the cover that came with it did not last one day in the high desert I live in. The wind gets up to 80mph so I needed something that would suction to the water and not have a pocket for the wind to get up underneath. This worked great! I also noticed that before I used this cover the water was freezing every morning when I cleaned it, now the temp stays pretty nice even with our cold nights. Of course, nothing can be perfect and there are tiny issues I can live with: The cover is much larger than the pool, so it sort of folds over on itself and leaves a small area around the edge that debri can get in. You can cut the cover to fit perfect, but it doesn't seem like it would be an easy task. Also, it is not that easy to put on or take off by yourself, it can be done but it can also be frustrating! Really, these 2 small issues aren't important when compared to the cover that wouldn't stay on at all! So at the end of the day I am very satisfied with this cover and highly recommend it!

Good cover for the money
I bought this cover for my 15 foot round Intex pool and found it to be a great improvement over the one that came with the pool. This one floats right on top, doesn't sink or blow off. It was a little big, but I didn't see any need to bother cutting it, so I just let the edges fold over and it's fine. It's weight is manageable, definitely keeps the pool cleaner and holds in warmth overnight. As far as those who say it heats their pool many degrees in a few hours, I don't agree. The surface gets hot if the filter is not on, but the water underneath remains cold. The filter helps distribute any heat, and over time (days of consistently hot temps) the pool did reach a comfortable temp and stayed that way with the cover on at night. I recommend it and found it to be a good buy.
